Discover the reoccurring formats E³UDRES² is hosting
The E³UDRES² Alliance provides a wide range of engaging, modern mobility programs and exclusive events for students and staff of its partnering universities. Most of our E³UDRES² formats give you the chance to tackle real-world challenges from organizations and businesses coming from the E³UDRES² regions, allowing you to make a direct impact.

Want to discover more possibilities for getting engaged in E³UDRES² based on your individual background? Visit our "Get Connected" page and discover possibilities that might be the perfect fit for you.
You are not sure yet how taking part in a E³UDRES² activity actually works? Here's an outline of the process to guide you! Note that this process applies to activities hosted by E³UDRES² as an alliance, and the process for activities organized by an individual institution may be different. These activities are marked with a * in our event calendar.
Our News & Events page provides a good overview on the upcoming activites hosted across the E³UDRES² network. Browse through it and find a format that suits your interests best!
The E³UDRES² team at your home institution is your first contact for any E³UDRES²-related questions. Reach out to them for anything you'd like to know about questions like financial support, getting excused from your regular lectures while attending a E³UDRES² activity, or any other related issues.
Your decision is made and there's no more open questions? Then you are ready to apply for the event! Each of our pages on our activities comes with a registration section, where you can fill out a form with all the information we need to know from you in order to be able to have you at the event. For some activities, there are limited slots available, so applying does not guarantee a spot in the pool of final participants.
Now things are getting exciting! After the application period ends, you'll get more information from the organizing team of the activity you applied for. They will let you know if they can offer you a spot to join the activity, if they need any more information from you, and what the next steps are. For some activities, there are online sessions taking place before the on-site activity starts.
In case the activity you applied for takes place on-site in a E³UDRES² country, it is mandatory to travel there and join on-location. Travel arrangements (like booking your train or flight) need to be made by all participants independently. In most cases, E³UDRES² will take care of booking an accomodation for you. Catering is always on us!
Now the time has finally come! No matter if you are attending a virtual or an on-site event: This is the time where you get to meet the other participants joining the event, find together as a team, and have a great time working together. You also meet the challengers (the organisation that submitted a challenge to be solved) and your coaches/mentors that guide you along your journey.
This is the time to discuss ideas with your team, go through feedback loops, all while getting frequent support from mentors and check-ins with the challengers. But don't forget: Fun is on the agenda as well! E³UDRES² activities always also include some leisure programme, like engaging city tours or a relaxing Yoga session.
After working together with your team and coming up with an idea how to solve the challenge, it's time to show the others what you've been working on! Participants, mentors and challengers get to hear what the teams have been coming up with over the course of the event. If your concept is convincing, the challenger may even want to work on it together with you in the future!
After the event is over, participants return back home with new experiences, sharpened skills and (maybe) life-long friends. Depending on the event, there may be a final online task for you to complete.
Do you have a problem that could be solved within one of the E³UDRES² formats? No matter if you're a researcher, student, business owner, citizen or university staff member - anyone from the E³UDRES² regions can submit their challenge for it to be worked on in one of our E³UDRES² formats!
Just fill out our challenge submission form, we will get in touch with you as soon as your challenge is tackled in one of our E³UDRES² formats.
