E³UDRES² is organizing its second International Citizen Science workshop!
As open science and citizen science become pivotal in narrowing the divide between academia and the public domain, E³UDRES² is organizing this workshop to inspire dialogue, partnership, and the interchange of ideas.

The focus of this workshop

This workshop is focusing on unveiling how Open Science principles can catalyze innovation by democratizing access to scientific research, and how Citizen Science can boost public involvement with science, contributing significantly across diverse fields.

The E³UDRES² Citizen Science Workshop will take place at the Politehnica University Timișoara, Romania.

The event will be hosted in a hybrid format, therefore, online particiaption is possible.

Registrations are now open!

You can join the E³UDRES² Citizen Science Workshop either onsite or online. You can register until the 21st of November. You will be provided with the link to the online sessions after your registration.

If you are a researcher and wish to present a short pitch of your research, please contact Franziska Wehner after you you fill out your registration form.

The workshop is open for researchers, citizen scientists, students, non-academic staff, and associated members from all nine E³UDRES² Institutions and Associated Partners.

If you are a E³UDRES² researcher and are interested in pitching your research projects and results please send an email with your idea or pitch to Franziska Wehner

Yes, students from all our E³UDRES² institutions can (and are encouranged to) participate.

The E³UDRES² Citizen Science Workshop is free for all participants. You can participate either on-site (at the campus of Politehnica University Timișoara) or online from the convenience of your office, or living room.

The link to the online event is provided upon registration.

On-site activities will only take place at the campus of Politehnica University Timisoara. If you wish to join please make sure to contact Diana Andone and Radu Vasiu.

The workshops will take place at Room C410 Digital and Distance Education Department , Bd. Vasile Pârvan nr 2B, UPT Library building, 4th floor (side entrance from Electro building).

Yes you can! Just make sure to indicate that you wish to receive a certificate or badge while filling out your registration form.
