Online Session

Cultural Reflexive Workshop

Let’s explore diverse working styles, share experiences of working in an intercultural team, and strengthen cross-cultural collaboration through mutual understanding. Join the cultural reflexive workshop designed for staff from E³UDRES² and its associates universities.

This workshop focuses on cultural reflexivity and intercultural collaboration in academic work environments. Participants will explore how cultural norms influence communication, work culture and decision-making styles. Through guided reflection, interactive exercises, and small group discussions and authentic case studies based on work-related experiences participants will gain deeper understanding of the impact of culture on work. They will be sensitised to the challenges of culture related differences in an intercultural team.

The workshop will be held by Dr. Pritima Chainani-Barta from Fulda UAS.

Date

What you will learn

The workshop provides a safe space to clarify queries and culturally unfamiliar behaviour or work styles of team colleagues. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of the broader significance of culture and its impact on work and communication. The workshop aims to bring colleagues from different cultures together and develop sensitivity towards diverse working styles, enhance cooperation within international university networks.

Since this is an interactive workshop, we encourage all participants to share practical examples and bring questions about intercultural collaboration in academic work environments.
