E³UDRES² Voices:

Anna Kofler

May 2025 | #stakeholder

Introducing Anna Kofler, a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten and now the successful CEO of ThynkAI, a start‑up dedicated to helping educational institutions create innovative and personalised learning experiences. In March, Anna participated in the International Stakeholders Forum during the E³UDRES² Spring Summit in the Netherlands — a platform designed to connect leading European companies with researchers, educators, and more than 100,000 talents across the alliance.

Anna Kofler studied Marketing & Communication (BA) and Digital Media Management (MA) at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten. Since the age of 18, she has founded several companies with a focus on technology, marketing, process automation, and artificial intelligence. She is an active member of Women in AI, advocating for the responsible and meaningful use of AI in organisations. As a GenAI lecturer, she teaches at various educational institutions — including St. Pölten UAS, Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, WIFI, incite, and Leaders of AI — and is also a keynote speaker on the topic of Generative AI.

How did you experience the Spring Summit?

In my profession, I tend to be firmly entrenched in my technological bubble – which made the exchange with people from diverse disciplines, countries, and professional contexts all the more enriching. Everybody contributed their own perspectives and experiences, thus allowing for a true change of perspective. The cross-border discussions relating to the topic of “personalised learning" were particularly interesting for me. It is incredibly valuable for the further development of our own learning system to see how other countries and institutions are approaching this matter.

What exactly have you taken away from the event from as an entrepreneur?

The company tours and inside views of the labs on site were particularly interesting for me. Such changes of perspective in new environments trigger creative thinking processes that are often not given enough room in everyday work contexts. It was also inspiring to behold how differently higher education institutions design their processes – this gave me valuable impulses that I will directly incorporate into the further development of our customisable learning system.

What is special about E³UDRES² for you personally?

E³UDRES² brings universities together that have a similar mindset and vision when it comes to rethinking education on a new and European scale. I find it tremendously impressive that this is not limited to formulating visions, but that concrete, practice-oriented solutions were developed and presented that may change education on a long-term basis.
