As Vice-Chair of the E³UDRES² Board of Student Representatives and an active member of the Student Executive Board, Paul is committed to amplifying student voices and driving meaningful change in higher education.
"Real change in education starts when students are not just heard, but empowered to lead. Through E³UDRES², I discovered that international collaboration isn’t just about mobility—it’s about building a shared future."
Introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background
Hey there! My name is Paul, and I'm a Master's student in Software Engineering. I'm the Chair of the E³UDRES² Board of Student Representatives and a member of the Student Executive Board on behalf of my university.
What motivated you to join the Student Executive Board and get involved with the E³UDRES² alliance?
The motivation behind my involvement in the Student Executive Board, and generally speaking in the E³UDRES² alliance, is greatly influenced by my role at my university, where I'm also a student representative in the Council of Administration, our highest executive body. I’ve always been involved with volunteering and student unions, so I’ve gained great satisfaction from helping my colleagues and collaborating with various student organizations. Becoming part of E³UDRES² felt like a natural next step – it allowed me to contribute at a broader level and represent students in an international context.
What has been the most rewarding aspect of being on the Student Executive Board so far?
The most rewarding part has definitely been helping other students and staff members see the value of student involvement. It’s been fulfilling to see more students encouraged to take part in decision-making processes, help shape programs, and feel heard. I’m passionate about the idea of co-creation-students and universities working hand in hand to innovate and improve higher education.
What is your most memorable moment from your involvement in the Board?
Some of the most memorable moments come from the General Assemblies, especially the one in Timisoara. Presenting our student vision in front of the entire assembly was both exciting and meaningful. It gave us a chance to directly engage with stakeholders, share our ideas, and influence the future direction of the alliance.
