Get ready to explore the world of Robot and Drone technology in this Hackathon at Saxion University of Applied Sciences! Together with E³UDRES² students and staff from Finland, Latvia and the Netherlands, you’ll explore the current-day perception of Robot and Drone technology, the extent to which different stakeholders are aware of its use cases, and you’ll investigate what it takes to increase its worldwide acceptance. You’ll work together with real stakeholders, and focus on solving real-world regional challenges that have real impact. By doing so, you’ll develop the skills so wanted in today’s labour market.

A deep dive into drones, robots, and technology

The Hackathon takes place in Enschede in the Netherlands. Together with your group mates you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the topic day (and night), and pull each other through what we like to call a 30-plus-hours pressure cooker. During the Hackathon days, you work together, eat together, and sleep together, creating a unique atmosphere of unity, focused on the challenge at hand. Our E³UDRES² coaches and stakeholders will accompany you during this time period, and guide you in approaching the challenge most effectively.

Due to this unique blend of pressure and unity, we believe the Hackathon is a great opportunity to build the skills so often requested by the current day labour market. After all, diamonds are made under pressure!
