In May 2023, the West University of Timisoara organized the 13th edition of the Erasmus International Week. Representatives from the Politehnica University of Timisoara shared their experience of being part of the E³UDRES² Alliance, the goals, activities and achievements related to this network, as well as some success stories of the collaboration.
The International Week targeted both academic and administrative staff members from WUT’s partner universities who are interested in knowing more about the WUT and its partners, as well as exploring the challenges and opportunities of the Erasmus Programme and the process of internationalization in the field of higher education in Europe and worldwide.
Best practices in internationalization
Among other activities, the programme of the event included presentations of all participating institutions, workshops on internationalization of HEIs, teaching activities, job shadowing sessions, networking events and more. Discussions were carried on various means and approaches to the process of internationalization of higher-education institutions. It was an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and good practices with partners from Timisoara, the biggest city in the West of Romania and European Capital of Culture in 2023.
