In Fall 2024, Fulda UAS once again invited the interested public to its campus during the open house event. At this event, E³UDRES² was presented to the visitors via an information booth aimed at students, university faculties, researchers and the local community, offering them a firsthand look at the innovative opportunities within the European University alliance. Throughout the day, visitors explored the alliance’s transnational project and mobility options, including Hackathons, I Living Labs, Bootcamps and International Engagement Circuses, as well as various research opportunities.
Students were informed about the upcoming Hackathon event, scheduled for December, and were encouraged to visit the E³UDRES² website for more details. Additionally, a student representative from the student board was present to share his personal experience with one of the E³UDRES² activities, encouraging other students to get involved in future events and engage with the alliance.
Partner universities and associated partner universities also participated, showcasing their study programs. They engaged with the students and answered questions regarding the university programs. Some of the universities present included Vidzeme UAS (Latvia), Saxion UAS (Netherlands), St. Pölten UAS (Austria), Sumy State University (Ukraine) and the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University (Ukraine).

Finally, visitors had the chance to engage with the booth through fun and interactive activities, raising awareness about the E³UDRES² alliance and cross-border mobility. One activity involved a quiz-style game, where participants read a phrase in a different language and guessed which of the partner countries it belonged to. Another activity included a map, where visitors could pin locations they had visited in Europe - for work, vacation, or future travel - sparking lively conversations and giving attendees a chance to reflect on their own cross-border mobility experiences.
This event highlighted the alliance’s commitment to empowering their regions and fostering international collaboration for innovation. We look forward to welcoming new students and partners inspired by the E³UDRES² vision for a more connected and sustainable future in Europe.
