E³UDRES² On-Air at Campus & City Radio 94.4: Student Opportunities, Upcoming Events and More

Listeners tuned in to Campus & City Radio 94.4, a local radio station broadcasting from St. Pölten, Austria, got the chance of an insight look into the E³UDRES² Alliance when Ramona Mauthner and Alex Xafis from the E³UDRES² team at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (UAS) joined one of the station's radio shows. Moderator Sophia Olesko invited the two to discuss the European University Alliance and the opportunities it offers students.

During an hour of insightful talks and great music picks, Ramona and Alex provided an overview of the alliance’s objectives and how students can benefit from its activities. The interview covered a range of topics, including the interdisciplinary event formats that E³UDRES² hosts and the benefits students can gain by participating. During the show, Alex and Ramona ensured to debunk the misconception of E³UDRES² being a programme that's only available to selected students or study programmes of the partnering universities. Instead, they stressed how the alliance's activities are open to all the students studying at one of the partnering universities, no matter the study background or skillset.

During the show, they provided additional insights into the behind-the-scenes work of E³UDRES², explaining how the network collaborates to organize events and programs for its students, staff, and also the citizens of the E³UDRES² regions. In terms of upcoming opportunities, the E³UDRES² team members highlighted the coming International Engagement Circus in Latvia as well as the Intensive I Living Labs taking place in St. Pölten in Fall 2024. And when it comes E³UDRES² appearances on the radio, this most likely will not have been the last feature of the network in audio form - further shows and other activities are already in the making.
