As part of the E³UDRES² Science Festival 2025 in St. Pölten, the Photovoice Challenge invited schools from across Austria to creatively engage with one pressing question: "What do I want the older generation to know about the climate crisis?"
Using photography and short written reflections, student teams captured powerful messages about environmental challenges and their hopes for a sustainable future. The result was a vibrant mix of creativity, emotion, and clear calls to action.

Over 60 students attended the award ceremony in person, joined by others online. Winners received trophies, gave short speeches alongside their teachers, and explored St. Pölten UAS labs through guided tours.
All participants were honored with the title “E³UDRES² Ambassadors of Sustainability.” The winning team will also take part in a Sustainability Bridge-Building Workshop with Dr. Viktoria Leitner, using upcycled materials to combine creativity and climate awareness.
This E³UDRES² Photovoice Challenge is more than just a competition-it's a platform for intergenerational dialogue, climate advocacy, and youth-led storytelling. By capturing their visions for change, students helped reinforce the E³UDRES² commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community engagement.
