An interesting edition of the E³UDRES² Science Pub Quiz was hosted on November 16th, 2023 within the most popular cultural and culinary event of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences - the yearly International Dinner. As the evening drew to a close, and the food judges deliberated on the different awards for the evening, the E³UDRES² team took the chance to engage all participants in a fun 30-minute session that seamlessly blended the thrill of competition with the joy of discovering different facts about each of the E³UDRES² partner countries.
Discovering E³UDRES² flavours and facts
The quiz was conducted through Mentimeter and attracted 96 participants in the 1st round and 84 in the 2nd round. It included two sections – one on general facts about the E³UDRES² network, and the other on unravelling the flavours and facts of E³UDRES² partner countries cuisines. The competitive spirit was palpable as participants huddled together, brainstorming answers, and celebrating each correct response. Laughter and cheers filled the room, creating an infectious energy that kept everyone on their toes throughout. Bhraaz, a former participant of an E³UDRES² I Living Lab, won the first round, while Purity, another student, won the 2nd round. The success of this event sets the stage for future activities of E³UDRES² 2.0 at the university.
