E³UDRES² Welcomed Students at Jamk’s Back to Campus Week

With the new semester starting, Jamk UAS organised its Back to Campus Week and Festival for both its existing and new students, as well as faculty and staff, to welcome everyone to the start the new academic year 2024/25. The event greatly contributed to a sense of community and belonging on campus - Jamk’s Vice Rector Minna-Maaria Hiekkataipale also emphasised the importance of community spirit and equality in her opening speech, the same values that are also at the core of the E³UDRES² community.

E³UDRES² and the activities it offers were also present in the Back to Campus week and allowed old and new students who are interested in internationalization through studies to get in touch with the E³UDRES² formats on offer. Many students were eager to hear about the possibilities E³UDRES² brings, specially the short-term exchanges were received well, providing students with a first step in creating international networks.

The Jamk UAS team presented E³UDRES² to students at their Back To Campus events.

At Jamk UAS, all students complete 15 ECTS credits as part of their "Future Factory" studies. E³UDRES² formats like Hackathons or I Living Labs can be accredited towards those studies, which makes attending them even more rewarding for the Finnish students. They not only get access to an international network, potential future employers and friends from all over Europe, but also advance their degrees by getting E³UDRES² credits. In addition to Jamk’s E³UDRES² Office, Jamk’s Future Factory experts and coaches Mari Hakkarainen and Elina Fisk (who also work as E³UDRES² Educational Entrepreneurs) dived into lively discussions with students and staff interested in the opportunities E³UDRES² has to offer during the event, truly kicking off the academic year with the sense of community E³UDRES² and Jamk aim to create.
