Fulda UAS hosted its International Day on Wednesday, May 14th. This event is held annually in June and provides students with the opportunity to explore their options for going abroad, whether through an internship, a semester abroad, or a short-term mobility program, allowing them to gain international experience during their studies.
The E³UDRES² team set up an information booth where they spoke to students about the benefits of gaining international experience and the educational formats offered by the alliance. The students participated in an interactive game that involved decoding the E³UDRES² acronym in a word search and learning more about the purpose of the alliance. Students were also treated to sweet delicacies from E³UDRES² partner countries, which served as great conversation starters and encouraged engagement.
The event provided the team an ideal platform to highlight the essential skills, which can be acquired through the various E³UDRES² activities and involvement opportunities, including intercultural competence, communication, collaboration, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Students were particularly attracted to the idea of integrating these skills into their existing study plans through a short-term mobility option.
International Day at Fulda UAS once again highlighted the value of global mobility within the context of higher education. Students left the event encouraged and informed, looking forward to the upcoming E³UDRES² activities.
