The E³UDRES² Alliance was represented through Politehnica University Timisoara participating in a round table organized on the theme "The role of European university alliances in the transformation of higher education from Romania: Challenges and opportunities, collaboration and financing". The event hosted on October 9 also brought together representatives of 17 institutions of higher education in Romania, members of other alliances of European universities.
The event also welcomed Mrs. Ligia Deca from the Romanian Ministry of Education, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and Professional Training, the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and the Executive Unit for Education Financing Superior, of Research, Development and Innovation.
The discussions revolved around the future of higher education, as well as exploring the challenges and opportunities brought by European University Alliances (EUAs). At the subsequent round table, the debate was continued with further academics, researchers, students and other guests eager to contribute to the transformation of higher education in Romania.
