E.I.N.S. partnering university UC Leuven-Limburg UAS recently hosted a research seminar focused on Digital Health & Social Innovation, with 12 academic staff members in attendance. Participants explored the use of sensors to enhance Virtual Reality (VR) applications in digital health research, exchanging various approaches and insights. The seminar also highlighted how different management styles within startups can significantly influence their success. During the event, collaborative projects involving teams from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) were discussed, emphasizing both the inspiration and funding challenges inherent in such endeavors. Attendees also gained insights into the varying levels of support available for researchers aiming to commercialize their projects, noting differences across HEIs.
