Giving Students a Glimpse Into the World of Entrepreneurship
Mid-September 2022, it was once again time for the Youth Entrepreneurship Week (YEW). More than 30 creative students from business schools in Lower Austria came to St. Pölten UAS to deepen their knowledge about entrepreneurships and startups. The event hosted by SMARTUP in close collaboration with IFTE and Austrian Startups perfectly underlined the aims of E³UDRES² and subsequently also E.I.N.S., and helped the students develop ideas and projects that could later on become real business ideas.
Dedicated trainers as well as inspirational speakers and mentors from the business world accompanied the potential "founders of tomorrow" throughout the entire entrepreneurial week - right up to the pitch in front of the experienced jury. The jury awarded prizes to the most thoughtful presentations, which will focus on sustainable and digital solutions.

As an Entrepreneurial University, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences supported the format of the Youth Entrepreneurship Week in every way: In addition to its holistic appearance as a host, it also offered active support for selected roles such as mentoring and jury, depending on requirements. Under the innovative roofs of its projects SMARTUP, Digital Makers Hub and E.I.N.S., it thus significantly promotes entrepreneurial awareness, sustainable and digital values and competences as well as the practical networking of the young participants.
The Youth Entrepreneurship Week was initiated by Austrian Startups and IFTE-Entrepreneurship4Youth - as well as developed and implemented in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy, the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, and the Austrian Economic Chambers.
