Blended I Living Labs

♻️ Circular Economy

Big changes start small. Urban areas are the ideal place to start the transition towards a more circular energy system. But is is not only a game for policy makers, we need more players to the table. Let’s bring policymakers, experts, entrepreneurs, artists and 20-something students together to think differently of a world in which thriving and growth go hand in hand.

🧘 Wellbeing & Active Ageing

There is a mismatch and underused potential of talents in an already overheated labour market. Europe has a hugely diverse potential of young talents seeking their way into the new job market. What if we could bridge this creativity to a European StartUP Market? This might spark the entrepreneurial mindset of students and could function as a gateway for small, medium & Startup entrepreneurs to new talents.

Intensive I Living Labs

The Intensive I Living Labs also offer different themes, however, you will not be able to choose a specific theme at registration. The choice of your theme will be made during the onboarding phase. Find more information about this format here.

I Living Lab FAQs

Participation in an I Living Labs is open to all students from E³UDRES² partnering institutions. Please be aware that the coverage of costs for attending an I Living Lab might differ for students from Saxion UAS, Fulda UAS and Jyväskylä UAS (new E³UDRES² partners). In case of questions, please get in touch with your local E³UDRES² contacts at your institution or write us at office(at)eudres.eu so we can connect you!

Together with international students who signed up for the same I Living Lab as you, you will tackle a real-life problem and search for solutions. Every student has a different background and comes from a different study program. This makes it easy to come up with transdisciplinary solutions.

Not at all. If you're open to develop a creative mindset, you'll find the experience easy. Just open your mind and go with the flow! Use the skills you have and develop new skills during the I Living Lab - it is open to all students from the E³UDRES² partnering institutions, no matter which study program, year or background!

This depends on the I Living Lab Format you choose. Classic I Living Labs are 100% online, Blended I Living Labs combine online with 1 week of physical gathering in a country (Belgium that is), Intensive I Living Labs combine 1 week online with 1 week on-site in Latvia.

Of course! Depending on which I Living Lab Format you choose, you get 3 or 6 ECTS.

Your team will consist of European students coming from all across our E³UDRES² partnering institutions. Some of them are also Erasmus students, which means that you can even have students from all around the world in your team.

Next to students, you'll also have a coach on your team (your Educational Entrepreneur), and of course the challenge owner.

The coach, or educational entrepreneur, is often a teacher from one of the higher education institutions involved in E³UDRES². They won't teach stuff, but will guide you through the I Living Lab. This means they will help if you are lost or that they can offer interesting pieces of information on the moment you need them.

In order to get a positive grading for your I Living Lab, you need to attend at least 80% of the online meetings. If your I Living Lab contains travelling, be aware that the travelling part is compulsory. Therefore, it is necessary to be physically present at the on-site program. Illness and certain family circumstances are reasons for which a legitimate absence applies. This must always be supported by an attestation.
