In April 2026, various E³UDRES² students visited USTP – University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, strengthening connections with the Austrian institution and learning more about its offers and facilities.
Digital exploration in the Spotlight for students of Saxion UAS
As part of a Blended Intensive Programme, more than 20 students of Saxion UAS (The Netherlands) visited USTP – University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten in Austria. The students were greeted on campus and received an introduction to E³UDRES². The programme also included a keynote titled "From European Project Semester to Gamified Reality Applications: Advancing Educational Innovation through Challenge-Based, Industry-Connected Learning", given by Michael Iber, Academic Director for E³UDRES² at USTP, as well as an introduction to IT-related international master's programmes at USTP. After a campus tour, the students visited the "Lucid Dreams happy Palace. Speculative Spaces for Performative Futures" Workshop on XR/AR/VR explorations & spatialized imagination or AI-assisted design, generative tools, and post-digital aesthetics, offered by Markus Wintersberger. The day ended with a Workshop on Serious Games / Gamification, hosted by Daniela de Angeli.
MATE students explored USTP, St. Pölten and Vienna
A group of around 10 students and staff coming from the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) visited USTP with a Pannónia Scholarship to learn more about the institution. During their one-day visit, the visitors made the most of their time at the institutions by exploring the premises through a guided campus tour, as well as a special tour through the media labs. The group also got to learn more about the E³UDRES² Joint Study Programmes GRACE and JEUDITH. After a joint lunch, the group visited USTP's Campus & City Radio, a local radio station broadcasting from within the campus, learning more about the radio station's operations, equipment, and history. After their visit to USTP, the visitors returned back to Austria's capital, Vienna.
