Hundreds of students from all around Europe travelled to Brussels from 31 May to 02 June 2023 to attend the European Student Assembly. Among the bright minds representing various universities, E³UDRES² made its mark through the participation of Kitty-Maria Ianto, a student from Politehnica University Timisoara.
The European Students Assembly, an annual event that gathers each year more than 230 students from most European University Alliances (EUA) to debate current issues, draft political recommendations for the future of Europe and advocate them among stakeholders and decision makers, is fully designed and implemented by a steering committee made up of students and academic and non academic staff members from different higher education institutions.
Student Kitty-Maria Ianto covered her experience at the European Student Assembly through an Instagram Takeover on the E³UDRES² Instagram page.
Throughout the event, the participating students engaged in a series of dynamic discussions and workshops. In the end, all the students participating created a collection of recommendations on 10 debating topics, including fair and sustainable energy access, mental health, and a united Europe.
The Assembly will be followed by a series of events aiming to disseminate the outcomes among stakeholders and decision makers. Students will then advocate for their recommendations among various actors such as municipalities, companies, NGOs, who are active at different levels of the European political life.
