E³UDRES² associate partner EURASHE, the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education, hosted their 30th Annual Conference on 20 and 21 May 2021. The online event took place under the motto "Professional Higher Education for Sustainable Development: Creating a Change that Endures" and aimed to discuss a potential action plan for the implementation of recommendations by professional higher education and its stakeholders over the next years.
The event featured an impressive number of international speakers, including Gabriele Permoser and Katalin Szondy from the E³UDRES² team at St. Pölten UAS. While Gabriele Permoser held a talk covering the topic of „Collaborative Innovation – Higher Education Institutions as driver for smart regions“, Katalin Szondy focused on "Recognition of Prior Learning along SDG 10“.
Also during the event, Hannes Raffaseder of St. Pölten UAS was elected to the Board of EURASHE, where he will intensively exchange ideas with experienced colleagues on the further development of "Professional Higher Education" and promote the further development of EURASHE in the next two years (Also see our news article: E³UDRES² members have started their positions at EURASHE)
EURASHE represents Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences on an European level and hosts annual conferences every year.
