Raquel Barreira, from IPS, represented E³UDRES² in the panel discussion “Widening and EUI as Catalysts for Transformation” on 18 June during the Brussels conference “From Widening to Transformation: European Universities as Engines of Inclusion and Innovation”, organised within the framework of the Unite!Widening project.
Together with representatives from the European University alliances EUNICE and EURECA-PRO, Raquel Barreira shared E³UDRES²'s experience in developing collaborative research across the alliance, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges of bringing together widening and non-widening institutions. She also reflected on the coordination of the Ent-r-e-novators project, which has provided valuable insights into building research capacity, fostering collaboration, and leveraging the diversity of widening and non-widening partners within a European University Alliance.
The conference brought together academic leaders, policymakers, and research stakeholders. It was jointly hosted by Wrocław University of Science and Technology, the University of Lisbon, and the NCBR Office in Brussels.
