As an active member of the E³UDRES² Alliance, Politehnica University Timisoara recently organized the third edition of the International Spotlight Heritage Student Contest (ISHSC) 2023 and the ninth edition of the Interactive Digital Media Student Contest (IDMSC) 2023 at the UPT Central Library's Polyvalent Hall. These competitions brought together students from three renowned universities in Romania, Norway, and Italy, fostering collaborative projects between students that seamlessly integrated mixed and virtual reality.
Impressive results
The IDMSC and ISHSC 2023 showcased innovative projects across categories, demonstrating the students' creativity and technical prowess. The winning team, composed of students from different countries, crafted exceptional projects like 'Giroc & Timisoara 2023 in VR' and 'Fountains In The Sea (F.I.T.S),' showcasing the power of cross-cultural collaboration. These accomplishments underscore the university's commitment to cultivating a global perspective and promoting innovation through international academic initiatives. In the spirit of the E³UDRES² collaboration, these contests not only showcase student talent, but also foster international connections, research initiatives, and technological innovation within the academic community.
