The Polytechnic University of Setúbal hosted Employment Week with more than 120 companies, strengthening connections with the local community.

The Polytechnic University of Setúbal, the Portuguese partner of the E³UDRES² Alliance, held its 11th Employment Week from 10 to 14 March 2025, offering students the opportunity to interact with over 120 companies and organizations, to explore career opportunities, learn from industry experts, and network with employers.

The event featured a robust program of conferences, panel discussions, workshops, and recruitment sessions to offer students various opportunities for professional growth. The topics ranged from current trends in the job market, personal branding, and the impact of artificial intelligence on employment.

One of the week's highlights was the Job Fair, held on March 12th and 13th, one of the largest in Portugal, bringing together more than 120 organizations from different sectors such as health, business, engineering, and social sciences. The students also had the opportunity to directly present their resumés digitally to each company, receive feedback, and even have a photo shoot for professional use.

The event was closely aligned with E³UDRES²’s mission to reduce barriers between students and the job market, facilitating access to first jobs. Furthermore, it strengthened the connection between the university and the community, promoting greater engagement with businesses and stakeholders in the region. Such an initiative not only helps students gain valuable insights into the professional world but also contributes to the growth of regional development and innovation by building closer ties between academia and the local business ecosystem.
