E.I.N.S. Open Innovation Hub
The E.I.N.S. Open Innovation Hub for Smart and Sustainable Working & Learning Environments at Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal is led by Luísa Carvalho. The Hub is focused on tackling the talent management crisis and functions as a regional catalyst for entrepreneurship, innovation and growth.
The Hub’s goal is to address the lack of leadership skills on the operational level, as well as the lack of innovation transfer and private-public partnerships.
Additionally, the hub aims to target stakeholders such as industry associations, policy makers, professional staff and NGO associations. It also targets students to connect them with industry and further promote upskilling.
The Open Innovation Hub promotes education and employment activities that ameliorate the shortage of specialised staff, enhance the weak collaboration for employability and strengthen the regional University-Industry cooperation
The Hub supports the development of new products and services through education, research and entrepreneurship.
The Hub offers resources such as training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to assist in starting and scaling businesses.
