Intensive I Living Labs 2026

How AI is Influencing Our Cultural Heritage

Curious to step behind the curtains of the iconic Vienna State Opera and contribute to its story? This September, join us at the E³UDRES² Intensive I Living Lab to explore how AI can fit into the world of opera and keep its tradition alive and relevant for the modern world.

Working with students from other countries and disciplines, you will discover how AI can shape and preserve our cultural heritage — through the many processes that make world-class opera possible. You will tackle challenges that address new approaches in artistic work, audience engagement, and organisational efficiency.

Guided by Design Thinking, you will collaborate with the Opera’s experts to create AI-driven solutions that contribute to the Opera’s long-term growth and adaptability.

Deepen your understanding of AI in cultural contexts, strengthen your teamwork and problem‑solving skills, and help shape a future where technology and tradition go hand in hand. Join us in working with the Vienna State Opera to rethink how cultural excellence is created, shared, and preserved.
